Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our leading Manufacturing clients in the Ilkeston, Derbyshire area.

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing

Ilkeston| £50,363 | 4 on 4 off (4 days and 4 nights) Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Reacting to breakdowns on production machinery

• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery

• Adhere to the health and safety policies at all times
• Working with PLC controlled equipment and automated systems
• Support electrical upgrades and improvement projects
• Assist with installations and commissioning
• Liasing with contractors when required

• Liaise with production in relation to timescales of the breakdowns

• Forward-thinking of continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 in Electrical Engineering 
• Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, Electrical Maintenance, Engineering Maintenance, or a related engineering discipline
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit drawings

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial

• Fault finding skill-set
• Experience with motors, drives, sensors and control systems would be beneficial
