Job Title:  1:1 Pastoral Support Worker
Location:  Syon Manor College, Isleworth, London, TW7 5AJ
Hours:      37.5 per week | Monday to Friday | Mon to Wed 8.30am – 4.30pm | Thur to Fri 8.30am - 4pm
Salary:      Up to £25,500 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract:  Fixed Term | Term Time Only
Start:        November 2026

About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Assistant to join our specialist education team.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a student transitioning from an ABA-based learning approach into our autism-specific educational environment. You'll play a key role in helping them build confidence, independence, and positive outcomes while supporting their learning journey.

Working alongside teachers, therapists, care colleagues, and other professionals, you will provide tailored educational and pastoral support to students with autism and associated needs. You will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every student can achieve their full potential.

Syon Manor College is a post 16 learning and skills provider for young people with autism and complex needs. The college will offer a broad curriculum of academic, vocational and life skills learning including BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills and ASDAN accreditations which will work towards their preparation for adulthood targets and into employment, supported internships or higher education. 

For over 19 years, Options Autism has provided specialist care and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, complex needs, and learning difficulties.
