Contract Type: Permanent
Full-Time: Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Customer Care:

• Manage incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Act as the primary contact for German and UK customers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Identify and assess customer needs, providing accurate information and effective solutions.
• Resolve queries, complaints, and service issues efficiently and professionally.
• Build strong relationships to maintain the organisation's excellent reputation for customer care.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and account activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of customer enquiries.
• Communicate confidently with contacts at all levels, including mid and senior management.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Brand Ambassador:

• Represent the organisation positively in every customer interaction.
• Promote a customer-first culture by consistently delivering outstanding service.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers across the UK and Europe.

Continuous Improvement:

• Support reporting activities and monitor customer service performance.
• Identify trends in customer feedback and recommend improvements.
• Share customer insights with the wider business to enhance satisfaction and support growth.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

• Fluent written and spoken German.
• Previous experience in customer service, customer support, or client services.
• Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in CRM, ERP, or customer management systems.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.

Desirable:

• Experience supporting UK and European B2B & B2C customers.
• Affinity with technical product support.
• Experience working with distributors, retailers, or commercial customers.
