Access Control Engineer

Location: London & Home Counties
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: Between £35000 - £45000 + Overtime + Call-Out + Pension

We are currently looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in access control and integrated security systems to work across a variety of commercial and high-end residential projects throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of access control systems
• Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems
• Door entry system installation and fault finding
• Intruder alarm installation, servicing and reactive maintenance
• Gates, barriers and integrated security systems
• Fault finding, testing and commissioning
• Reactive call-outs and planned maintenance visits
• Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of customer service

We aim to schedule engineers' work in advance wherever possible, although emergency call-outs may occasionally require changes to planned work.

Requirements

• Proven experience installing and maintaining access control systems
• Experience with CCTV, door entry and intruder alarm systems
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desirable Experience
• Integrated security systems
• IP CCTV
• Intruder & CCTV ARC monitoring
• Gates and barriers
• IPAF certification (preferred but not essential)

• Advanced MX Range
• Orisec
