Account Director
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + OTE

Aztrum is pleased to be working with one of the leading IT value-added resellers in the UK – our client has a turnover of over £100m and offers services to both public and private sector organisations.  This firm provides a wide range of IT solutions including networking, cloud, software & support services, whilst providing a top tier service!  Due to on-going success, they’re expanding the account management team and seeking an Account Director to join in the London region. 

The Role

This is a dual-focus commercial role, responsible for:

• Leading and growing a portfolio of large, strategic client accounts
• Delivering new business revenue through proactive acquisition and pipeline development

You’ll work closely with senior commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, strong client retention and net-new logo wins, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach to sales execution.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as an Account Manager / Account Director within a VAR / IT Reseller allowing you to have confidence in making sales calls & finding new business.
• Book of customers. 
• Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers. 
• Strong communication skills.
• Confident communicating with a variety of people. 

Main duties will consist of searching for new business & converting these into long-standing relationships.  You should be happy undertaking calls & selling the business and products.  Other duties will include building relationships, purchasing & negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers and account management duties.
