Account Manager – Construction / Maintenance
Reigate, Surrey
Full-Time, On-Site, Permanent
£35,000 - £45,000 + OTE

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Account Manager with strong client relationship skills and an understanding of building maintenance, construction or refurbishment?This is an excellent opportunity to join an established property maintenance and refurbishment business, managing key residential and commercial accounts.

You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating projects from initial enquiry through to completion while identifying opportunities to develop long-term relationships and grow existing accounts.
This company covers a wide area including the London area and there will be an expectation to travel to sites to meet with clients regularly.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Coordinate maintenance, refurbishment and renovation projects.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and client communications.
• Monitor project budgets, timescales and delivery progress.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and tradespeople.
• Conduct client visits and site inspections where required.
• Resolve issues, manage expectations and identify account growth opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in account management, project coordination or a similar client-facing role within the industry.
• Strong relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Background in construction, facilities management, property maintenance or refurbishment.
• Understanding of building maintenance and refurbishment processes.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
• Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and CRM or job management systems.
• Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
