Account Manager – Managed IT Services

Newcastle | Hybrid Working

£40,000 – £55,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a well-established and growing technology solutions provider, delivering Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Networking, Cloud and Managed Communications to businesses across the UK.

They are now looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to join their team in Newcastle.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of an existing customer base, develop strong long-term relationships and identify opportunities to expand accounts through consultative selling.

You will act as a trusted technology partner to your customers, understanding their business challenges and working with internal technical teams to deliver the right IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing B2B customers
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT solutions and services
• Develop new opportunities within existing accounts
• Understand customers' business objectives and recommend appropriate technology solutions
• Sell across areas including Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Networking, Cloud and Communications
• Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
• Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for growth
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through to close
• Achieve and exceed revenue and gross profit targets

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in B2B Account Management or IT Sales
• Experience working within an MSP, IT reseller, VAR or technology services environment would be highly advantageous
• A strong understanding of Managed IT Services and technology solutions
• A consultative and relationship-led approach to sales
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A commercial mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets
• The confidence to engage with senior business stakeholders
• A proactive, self-motivated approach
