Account Manager - Managed IT Services

Northampton - Hybrid Working
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission + Excellent Benefits

An established and growing IT solutions provider is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join its successful team.

Delivering innovative technology services to businesses across the UK, the company is known for exceptional customer service and tailored solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen security and maximise IT investment. Its portfolio includes managed IT support, cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, hardware, software licensing and IT consultancy.

As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of an established portfolio of clients. You will build trusted relationships, identify opportunities for growth and ensure every customer receives an outstanding level of service.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing an existing portfolio of business accounts.
• Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and becoming a trusted technology adviser.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell managed services, cloud solutions and IT products.
• Preparing quotations, proposals and renewal agreements.
• Working closely with technical and delivery teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing a healthy sales pipeline.
• Consistently achieving revenue and margin targets.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an Account Manager, Internal Account Manager, IT Sales Executive or Customer Success Manager.
• Experience within the IT, Managed Services Provider (MSP), technology or telecommunications sector.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A consultative sales approach and a genuine commitment to customer success.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• The ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
