You will manage purchase ledger records for a Retail business, helping the Accounting & Finance team keep supplier information accurate and up to date. You will handle day-to-day invoice processing and account queries so payments can be prepared smoothly

• Process supplier invoices accurately and match them to relevant purchase records.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date purchase ledger accounts for suppliers.
• Check invoice details and resolve any differences before records are updated.
• Respond to supplier queries in a timely and helpful manner.
• Keep invoice records organised so information is easy to find when needed.
• Prepare purchase ledger information to support payment processing.
• Reconcile supplier statements against ledger records and investigate discrepancies.
• Work with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to maintain accurate financial data.

Profile

• Experience processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase ledger records.
• Confidence matching invoices to purchase information and checking data accuracy.
• Ability to reconcile supplier statements and investigate differences.
• Experience responding to supplier queries clearly and professionally.
• Good attention to detail when handling financial information.
• Ability to organise records and manage routine tasks accurately.

Job Offer

• Permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk role in Medway, Kent
• Salary of £26,000 to £28,000 dependent on the level of experience.
