Job Description:

Accounts Receivable Officer
Location: Hull (Hybrid working)
Salary: £29,000 
12 month FTC with the opportunity to go Perm

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join a growing and fast-paced organisation, based in Hull. This is a key role within the finance function, responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, effective credit control, and strong cash flow management.

• Raise and issue accurate sales invoices in a timely manner
• Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Monitor aged debt and actively follow up on overdue balances
• Carry out credit control activities in line with policies
• Resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records
• Support month-end processes related to receivables
• Assist with bank reconciliations where required
• Prepare reports on outstanding debt and cash collection
• Liaise with customers regarding invoices and payments
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues
• Support audit processes with accurate documentation

Key Skills & Experience required:

• Experience in accounts receivable or finance administration
• Strong understanding of invoicing, payment allocation, and credit control
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a professional approach
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
