Accounts Senior

£40,000 – £50,000 + benefits | Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid

An established and highly regarded accountancy practice is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to join its growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant with practice experience who is looking to develop their career within a varied and client-focused environment.

Working with a diverse portfolio of businesses and individuals, the role offers exposure across accounts, taxation and advisory work, with genuine opportunities for progression towards a more senior or management position.

The Role

• Preparing statutory accounts for companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Preparing corporate and personal tax computations
• Assisting with management accounts and providing financial insight
• Supporting advisory work and dealing with client queries
• Reviewing working papers and supporting junior members of the team
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting and tax requirements

About You

• At least 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice
• Experience preparing accounts and tax computations
• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified or equivalent
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Good working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
