Air Conditioning Project Manager / Technical Sales professional required for a specialist HVAC business delivering air conditioning installation, replacement and maintenance projects across commercial and residential sectors.
This is a dual-role position for an experienced Air Conditioning Project Manager / Technical Sales professional who can take responsibility for projects from initial enquiry and site survey through to completion, while also developing client relationships.
The successful Air Conditioning Project Manager / Technical Sales will have a strong technical understanding of air conditioning and HVAC systems, together with the commercial awareness to produce competitive quotations and secure work.
For an experienced Air Conditioning Project Manager / Technical Sales, this role offers the opportunity to combine project delivery with client-facing technical sales rather than moving into a purely sales-based position.

The business is an air conditioning and HVAC specialist providing installation, replacement and maintenance services to commercial and residential clients across London and the Home Counties.

About the Role
As an Air Conditioning Project Manager / Technical Sales professional, you will manage projects from the initial enquiry through to handover while identifying additional opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Surveying sites and assessing client requirements.
Designing and specifying suitable air conditioning solutions.
Preparing quotations, costings and technical proposals.
Managing installation projects from award through to completion.
Planning labour, materials and subcontractor activities.
Monitoring programme, quality and project profitability.
Responding to enquiries and converting opportunities into sales.
Identifying upgrade, replacement and energy-efficiency opportunities.
Candidate Background
You will need a minimum of 3 years' experience within the air conditioning or HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of split systems, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation and associated equipment.
Previous experience managing air conditioning installation projects and producing technical quotations or estimates is essential. Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and confident customer-facing communication are also required.
F-Gas, SMSTS or SSSTS, high-end residential experience, and experience working with commercial HVAC contractors or FM providers would be advantageous.
The role could suit an experienced Air Conditioning Project Manager, HVAC Project Engineer, Contracts Manager, Senior Air Conditioning Engineer or HVAC Technical Sales professional looking to combine their technical background with greater commercial responsibility.
