As we continue to grow, we’re looking for skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers who take pride in their craft and want to be part of a business where their contribution truly matters. You'll cover Norfolk and Suffolk areas.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our customers’ systems running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned service and maintenance on a wide range of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing faults, identifying solutions, and delivering timely, effective repairs.
• Installing, testing, and commissioning new systems to the highest industry standards.
• Completing refrigerant recovery, evacuation and recharging work safely and accurately.
• Providing exceptional customer service and representing Pitkin & Ruddock with professionalism.
• Maintaining detailed service records and ensuring full compliance with company procedures.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, equipment and best practices.
• Collaborating with colleagues and contractors to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
• Consistently adhering to our robust Health & Safety standards

What you'll bring

We’re looking for engineers who demonstrate both technical ability and pride in their work. You will have:

• Proven experience as a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial refrigeration and AC systems (including walk-ins, bottle coolers and ice machines).
• Confident mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Sound understanding of refrigerant handling and recovery procedures.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Great communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• A valid UK driver’s licence.
• Relevant qualifications such as F-Gas, NVQ, or City & Guilds.
