Job Description:

Area Sales Manager - Industrial Automation & Pneumatics.  Bristol, BS1.  £45,000 - £55,000 + Car + Bonus scheme

• Area Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Consultant or any experience working within a B2B sales role for industrial or technical sectors.
• Highly suited to someone with a background within manufacturing or engineering – any exposure to Pneumatics, Fluid power solutions or industrial control components.  Territory sales role selling into end users (Manufacturers, Machine builders).

Your background as an Areas Sales Manager:

• Ideally some proven experience in B2B technical sales (industrial, engineering or manufacturing).  Alternatively you could have come from an applications, technical support or customer facing engineering role and are wanting to transfer over into a sales role.
• Ability to manage the full sales lifecycle in an autonomous role – self driven role.
• Working with strategic or key accounts – providing a consultative sales approach and building long lasting relationships & partnerships with a customer base.
• A degree or qualification within engineering or manufacturing or a background working in a technical role.  Some technical knowledge of pneumatics, fluid power or industrial automation will be highly beneficial.
• Ability to work in an autonomous role and travel across the South West region of the UK – you must have a full UK Driving license.   

Area Sales Manager Jobs responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with end user customer accounts across the South West of the UK.
• Strategic approach, to increase sales growth within the region. 
• A strong focus towards account management and selling within an existing customer base.  Selling a full range of products – broad knowledge of technical components and technical understanding in order to identify the right customer solution.
• They have an excellent onboarding and training process, so they are able to develop you either commercially or technically should you be weaker in either area.

This Area Sales Manager job is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Weston super Mare, Newport, Cardiff and surrounding areas in the South West of the UK.
