Job Description:

Area Sales Manager

The Role:

• Working for a leading stockist and distributor of wood products, including flooring, trusts, battens, hard woods and much more
• You will be tasked for managing and developing business in the Southwest area, approximately 1.5 hours around Bristol.
• Identify and target new accounts in line with company objectives and KPIs
• Manage key accounts within the region
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Support Sales Executives in their role and development
• Represent the company at relevant trade organisations and associations

About you:

• Proven experience in timber products sales, either for a merchant, a distributor or a manufacturer
• Living on patch, within 1 hour of Bristol
• Strong contacts with the merchant sector
• Proactive and strategic approach to sales
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
• Strong organisational and time management skills
