Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £43k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and privately owned Asbestos outfit. Our client is seeking a reliable and qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their developing team. Ideally, applicants will be able to hit the ground running, and will come with a wealth of industry knowledge. You will be predominantly covering commercial and domestic premises across the region. We can also consider candidates who hold industry qualifications and would be looking to build on their site experience, within a supportive and professional environment. Salaries and benefits on offer are attractive, and include a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Robust industry knowledge, including: UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
• Hardworking attitude
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

The Role:

• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Re-inspection surveys
• Collecting ACM samples and bagging correctly
• Collating findings to create bespoke technical reports
• Supporting scheduling of your own diary
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and providing advice / support
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Adhering to industry safety guidelines
