Assistant Commercial Manager/Commercial Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to work with an established international General Requirements contractor for an assistant commercial manager or commercial manager (Quantity surveyor) to working on an exciting Data centre on site in Holland.

About the role of Assistant Commercial Manager/Commercial Manager

Working under a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be helping the management of suppliers, logistical management and reporting, applications, payments and be part of a team working directly with some of the industries biggest clients on Data centre, M&E and infrastructure projects working closely with the client and alongside contractors you are carrying out the construction work.

The key functions of this role are to help support the Senior Commercial manager with all reporting and supplier management as well as being able to provide insight on multiple aspects of the projects you will be working on. The bigger picture is that the European data centre world is a key part of this companies growth which allows you to get recognised in a smaller business and have superb progression opportunities.

It will be a fully on site role in Groningen, Holland. Alternatively it will be a one week rotation between the UK and Holland.

Responsibilities for Assistant Commercial Manager

• Assist with creating 'Cost plus' reporting, applications and financial reporting organisation and submitting skills, CVR's, Lump sum, cashflow forecasting and other managing reporting duties
• Ability to travel when required across European sites
• Subcontractor management and package delivery
• Upstream communication effectiveness
• Be able to plan for and implement change on projects when required

Requirements for Assistant Commercial Manager

• Ability to travel within Europe
• Full Drivers licence (International preferred)
• Logistics experience
• 1-5 years experience
• Ability to stay abroad for sustained periods of time
• Subcontractor management experience
• Extreme attention to detail and skilled at producing reports with a ambitious attitude
• Previous Data centre or Groundworks experience, Electrical or MEP experience (Not a firm Requirement)
