Pay: £17.21 per hour PAYE / £22.88 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Temporary maternity cover
Hours: Initially 4 days per week, reducing to 3 days per week after approximately 2 months

Lynx Employment Services is recruiting an Assistant Estates Surveyor to support the management of a portfolio of garages and associated property assets in Milton Keynes.
This is a varied, hands-on property role combining estate inspections, garage lettings and licences, maintenance coordination, record management and liaison with tenants and contractors.
## The Role
You will assist with the day-to-day management of a garage portfolio, including:
- Carrying out garage, estate and property inspections
- Inspecting vacant garages and garage compounds
- Managing records relating to occupancy, voids, repairs, inspections and compliance
- Processing new garage licence applications, terminations and changes
- Issuing licence agreements and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
- Coordinating routine condition and health & safety inspections
- Raising minor works orders for repairs, lock changes, clearances and remedial works
- Liaising with contractors and internal teams to ensure works are completed
- Responding to customer and tenant enquiries
- Supporting debt management through accurate property and occupancy records
- Maintaining property databases, spreadsheets and digital records
- Preparing reports, surveys, plans, property records and risk assessments
- Attending meetings with tenants, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
- Supporting wider asset management projects, audits and service improvements
## About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience within property management, estates, housing property services or a similar environment.
Ideally, you will have:
NVQ Level 3 in Property Management or a similar qualification,
or equivalent relevant experience
Knowledge of property management and land/property ownership matters
Experience dealing with property records and legal documentation
Experience with routine property transactions, licences and consents
Good administrative and record-management skills
Confidence using spreadsheets, databases and digital systems
Experience liaising with tenants, customers and contractors
Good organisation and communication skills
The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Experience of asset management, property budgets, income monitoring or account reconciliation would also be advantageous.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role involves travelling to garages and properties to undertake inspections.
