Assistant Operations Manager to support the day-to-day management of its production facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong background in plastic injection moulding to take ownership of production performance, quality standards, labour utilisation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Assistant Operations ManagerJob Description- Lead and support daily production operations, ensuring output, efficiency, and KPI targets are consistently achieved
- Drive machine performance by coordinating tool changes, minimising downtime, and reducing waste across production areas
- Manage labour utilisation and workforce allocation to maximise productivity and control operational costs
- Ensure high-quality standards are maintained through adherence to SOPs, employee training, and continuous monitoring of production processes
- Champion continuous improvement, housekeeping, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance operational performance and workplace standards
Assistant Operations ManagerEssential Experience / Skills / Qualifications- Previous experience within a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment is essential
- Proven leadership experience within a production, operations, or manufacturing management role
- Strong understanding of production KPIs, quality standards, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Experience managing labour efficiency, production performance, and operational costs within a fast-paced manufacturing setting
