Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing Refurb 

📍 Hertfordshire based
💰 Up to £50,000 + Package
🚗 Own car required

We are currently working on behalf of one of our clients who are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager on a legacy PCSA cladding project based out of their Hertfordshire office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to gain valuable exposure on a specialist construction project while working closely alongside an experienced commercial lead.

The Role

• Supporting the Commercial Manager across all commercial aspects of a live cladding project
• Assisting with subcontractor management, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
• Working within a design & build contract environment
• Supporting procurement and commercial administration
• Helping to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• Good understanding of Design & Build contracts
• Previous experience within construction or specialist subcontracting desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
