Associate Mechanical / Electrical Engineer

£70,000 - £90,000 + Hybrid Working + Future Share Options + Long-Term Leadership Opportunity

Are you an ambitious Mechanical or Electrical Engineer looking for more than just your next promotion?

Im working with a highly respected independent Building Services consultancy that has built a strong reputation delivering technically challenging projects across the commercial, residential, mixed-use, education and specialist sectors. Due to ongoing growth and succession planning, they are looking to appoint an Associate-level Engineer who wants to play a key role in the future direction of the business.

This is a genuine opportunity for someone with leadership aspirations. The current directors are looking for an individual who can help drive the consultancy forward, with a clear pathway towards future ownership and the potential to take over the business within the next decade.

The Role

• Lead the delivery of mechanical or electrical building services projects from concept through to completion.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers.
• Support business development activities and help grow existing client accounts.
• Work closely with the directors on strategic decisions and future growth plans.
• Influence the future direction of a well-established consultancy.

What They're Looking For

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineer from a Building Services consultancy background.
• Currently operating at Senior, Principal or Associate level.
• Strong project delivery and client-facing experience.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth.
• Ambitious individual looking for a long-term career move rather than simply another job.
