CKB Recruitment is working with an established financial services organisation to recruit an Assurance & Complaints Analyst.

This opportunity would suit someone earlier in their career who enjoys working with information, spotting patterns and understanding why things happen. Perhaps you’re in an administration, customer service or reporting role and particularly enjoy the spreadsheet and problem-solving side of your work.

The main focus is on your Excel knowledge, attention to detail and interest in data and management information (MI). You don’t need to be an established analyst to bring something valuable to this role.

What will you be doing?

You’ll support the team with analysis, reporting and administration, helping the business understand its performance and improve the service it provides to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Using Excel to organise, check and analyse information, making use of formulas.

• Helping prepare MI reports and identify trends, recurring issues and areas for improvement.

• Supporting complaints administration and keeping records accurate and up to date.

• Assisting with quality assurance checks and recording findings.

• Helping maintain information relating to vulnerable customers and risk events.

• Supporting wider administration, including data requests and training records.

It’s a varied role where being curious, asking questions and checking the detail will help you make a difference.

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Knowledge of Excel formulas and confidence working with spreadsheets.

• An interest in problem solving and investigating discrepancies.

• An enthusiasm for data and MI, with a desire to develop your analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.

• Clear communication skills and the confidence to ask questions.

• A willingness to learn about complaints, quality assurance and customer outcomes.

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent.

Experience involving administration, spreadsheets, reporting or customer service could provide a useful starting point. Above all, we’re interested in someone who enjoys working with data and wants to build on that interest.

The salary and benefits

• £26,000–£28,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• 10% employer pension contribution, with no employee contribution required.
