AV Commissioning Engineer

We're working with a growing, forward-thinking AV integrator delivering high-end commercial projects across Leicester. They're looking for a technically strong AV Commissioning Engineer to take systems from "installed" to "exceptional."

If you enjoy fine-tuning systems, solving complex integration challenges, and being the final authority before handover - this role is built for you.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the final stages of AV delivery - ensuring systems are configured, optimised, and performing exactly as designed.

You'll be:

• Commissioning control systems, DSPs, VC platforms, displays & audio systems
• Testing signal flow, networking, and system performance
• Fault-finding and resolving integration issues
• Working from schematics and design documentation
• Supporting install teams during project completion
• Producing commissioning documentation
• Delivering client demonstrations and user handovers
• Supporting post-install optimisation where required

This role requires strong technical confidence, structured thinking, and a professional client-facing approach.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven AV commissioning experience (commercial projects)
• Strong understanding of signal flow & AV networking
• Experience commissioning VC, control systems & DSP
• Confident faultfinder
• Professional client communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
