Job Description:

If you are an experienced AV Commissioning Engineer looking for a role where you can actually take ownership of your projects and work with a top-tier team, this one is worth a look.

I am working with a fast-growing audio-visual systems integrator (now circa 45 people) with a busy pipeline of high-end projects across the UK and Europe. The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and full on-site commissioning of various AV systems, ensuring everything works to specification and meets the client's needs.

Your time will be split between hands-on technical work and project closure:

• Commissioning and Testing (90%): Full on-site commissioning, advanced configuration, off-site testing, troubleshooting, clear reporting, and client training.
• Reporting and Management (10%): Vetting closure reports, managing "as-built vs. as-drawn" updates, and attending monthly improvement and team meetings.
• Ad-Hoc: Van and equipment stock management, scheduling office days, and maintaining file structure/revision control.

What you will need:

• At least 4 years of solid audio-visual industry experience.
• Strong DSP programming skills (Biamp, Polycom, Extron, Crestron, or Shure).
• AVIXA CTS certification is essential (CTS-I is a bonus).
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and problem-solve on-site without walking away from a challenge.
• A clean driving licence.
• Desirable: Crestron P101/P102, QSC, Extron, or control system programming skills.
