Location: Nottingham Primary Care Network (Multiple Sites)
Contract Type: Bank / Flexible Working
Pay Rate:

• PAYE: £14.15 per hour
• Umbrella PAYE: £16.65 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Bank Medical Receptionists to support a busy and well-established Primary Care Network across Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for receptionists with GP practice experience who are looking for additional work alongside their current role, studies, family commitments, or other employment. Key Responsibilities

• Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service to patients
• Managing incoming telephone calls and patient enquiries
• Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments
• Processing patient registrations and updating records
• Handling clinical correspondence and administrative tasks
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of GP practice reception services
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to NHS policies and procedures

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist within a GP Practice
• Proficient in SystmOne
• Valid NHS Smartcard
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different practice environments
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
