Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker

£35,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Progression to Workshop Management + 36 Days Leave + Pension + Early finish on Friday

Bethersden, Kent (commutable from Ashford and surrounding areas)

Are you a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner looking for a stable days-based role in a small family-run business known for high-end bespoke kitchens offering progression into Management as the company grows?

This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-run business that designs and manufactures individually made cabinetry for high-end residential projects. You will work on varied, one-off pieces rather than repetitive production-line furniture, seeing projects develop from technical drawings through to completed cabinetry.

The role would suit someone from a bespoke furniture, kitchen, cabinet-making or joinery background who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. There is also longer-term potential to progress into workshop supervision or management as the business continues to grow.

The Role

• Manufacture high-end bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture and cabinetry
• Read and work from technical and production drawings
• Cut, machine, assemble and finish cabinetry components
• Work closely with other members of the workshop team
• Overtime available when required, with increased availability during busy project periods
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Friday, 8:00am to 3:45pm

The Person

• Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker or similar
• Background producing bespoke kitchens, furniture, cabinetry or architectural joinery
• Looking to join a small family-run company
• Able to manufacture detailed cabinetry from drawings
• Confident using workshop machinery, power tools and hand tools
• Reliable, conscientious and able to work effectively as part of a team
