BMS Field Service Engineer

An established Building Management Systems specialist is looking to recruit a BMS Field Service Engineer to join its growing service team.

This is a mobile field-based role supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across London and the South East. It suits a self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive service team.

The Role

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of BMS systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and breakdown call-outs
• Completing remedial works and minor upgrades
• Supporting upgrades, panel modifications, and some commissioning
• Producing accurate service reports
• Identifying opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency
• Acting as a key point of contact on selected client sites
• Participation in an on-call rota

Requirements

Essential

• Minimum 1 year’s experience within the BMS industry
• Previous experience in a service-based engineering role
• Strong knowledge of at least one BMS platform
• Good communication and IT skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Based within or close to the M25

Desirable

• Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Trend, Tridium N4, Delta)
