We're looking for an ambitious Branch Manager Trainee who wants more responsibility, genuine career progression and the chance to develop into a Branch Manager. You don't need experience in this industry – what matters is your ability to lead people, deliver outstanding customer service and thrive in a busy operational environment.

This is a hands-on Branch Manager Trainee position where you'll learn every aspect of running a successful branch. From leading a team and driving sales to managing day-to-day operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience, you'll receive structured training while taking on increasing responsibility as your confidence grows.

The Role As a Branch Manager Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced managers to develop the commercial, operational and leadership skills needed to run your own branch in the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy branch
• Leading, motivating and developing a customer-facing team
• Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer queries
• Managing bookings, administration and operational activity
• Monitoring branch performance, workflow and service standards
• Driving sales and identifying opportunities to grow revenue
• Building lasting relationships with customers
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, compliance and presentation
• Learning how to manage branch performance, profitability and commercial decisions
• Taking on greater responsibility as part of your development programme

You'll ideally have experience in a leadership role such as:

• Team Manager
• Trading Manager
• Shift Manager
• Department Manager
• Assistant Manager
• Duty Manager
• Supervisor ready for the next step

Experience within supermarkets, retail, hospitality, leisure, food retail or any other fast-paced customer-facing environment would be highly relevant.

You'll also have:

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A positive, proactive attitude
• Commercial awareness and a desire to achieve results
• The ability to work at pace while managing multiple priorities
• A genuine ambition to build a long-term management career
• A Full UK Driving Licence
