Buildings Security Night Officer

💷 £21,047.76 per annum

Our client is seeking a Buildings Security Night Officer to join their housing and support service in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and vigilant individual looking to play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of residents, staff, and accommodation buildings during overnight hours.

Working as part of a rota, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of hostel accommodation, self-contained flats, office spaces, and communal areas between 10:00pm and 7:00am.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out security checks across residential and communal areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond appropriately to any concerns.
• Liaise effectively with day staff during shift handovers.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and resident welfare concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety, COSHH, and first aid procedures.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records where required.
• Provide support and assistance to colleagues and residents throughout the night.
