Building Services Engineer

📍 Central Belt, Scotland
💷 Up to £45,000 + On-Call Allowance + Overtime + Company Van

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Engineer to join a growing and well-established FM / Building Services business following the successful award of a major new contract.

This is a mobile role covering sites across the Central Belt, with preference given to candidates based in the West of Scotland due to the location of the contract portfolio.

The Role

Working across a range of commercial sites, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across building services systems while ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance.

This is a varied role suited to an all-round Building Services Engineer who is comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding to reactive maintenance and breakdowns
• Fault finding and repairs across building services systems
• Working on commercial gas, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
• Supporting the wider engineering team across multiple sites

About You

We are looking for an experienced and reliable engineer with a strong building services background.

Ideally, candidates will hold:

• Commercial Gas qualifications
• F-Gas certification
• 18th Edition
• Relevant Building Services or Engineering qualification

Experience within FM, commercial maintenance, or mobile engineering roles would be highly advantageous.
