CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR (COMMERCIAL)

Location: Birmingham

A well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS/MCABE) to join its growing Manchester team.

The business delivers a broad range of commercial surveying and building safety projects across the UK and offers a strong pipeline of work, varied instructions, and clear progression opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering defect diagnosis and condition surveys across commercial assets
• Leading and supporting dilapidations instructions
• Managing project delivery including specifications, tendering and contract administration
• Undertaking technical due diligence
• Reviewing licences to alter
• Supporting reinstatement cost assessments alongside specialist teams
• Contributing to fire safety and building safety remediation projects
• Managing instructions from inception to completion while maintaining client relationships

Requirements

• Chartered status (MRICS / MCABE) - essential
• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
• Strong commercial property experience
• Proven experience across professional services and project work
• Confident, client-facing communicator
• Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel where required
