Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for aBusiness Development Executivejoin a technology solutions provider specialising in CCTV, telecoms, Wi-Fi and video entry systems for commercial and high-end residential clients.

As a Business Development Executive, you will generate new business, develop client relationships and sell tailored CCTV and telecoms solutions from initial enquiry through to project handover.

The role offers a basic salary of £32,000 - £34,000 (negotiable), plus commission with an OTE of £45,000 - £60,000, a company car and additional benefits.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying and approaching potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
• Qualifying leads and managing the sales pipeline.
• Visiting client sites to assess requirements and discuss suitable solutions.
• Preparing quotations, proposals and delivering product presentations or demonstrations.
• Managing negotiations, closing sales and coordinating handovers to project and installation teams.
• Working with technical colleagues to develop solutions suited to client requirements.
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and following up with prospects and existing clients.
• Building long-term customer relationships and working towards sales targets.

What we are looking for

• Solid background in business development and B2B sales, in CCTV.
• Proficient in lead generation, pipeline management and consultative selling.
• Previous field sales or account management experience.

• The ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Confidence using CRM systems, office software and digital communication tools.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• A full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
