Business Development Manager - UK & Europe

Specialist Logistics Services and Products

Remote/Hybrid with 2 days in office per month - UK & Europe travel to customer sites required

£60,000 - £80,000 Basic Salary + £50 - 60k OTE (Uncapped) + Car Allowance + Benefits + Hybrid Remote Working* (2 days per month in office)

Your role as a Business Development Manager

• A business-critical sales role, hybrid based with 2 days in the UK office per month, and 2 trips to global HQ per year.
• This is a business development focused role (75%) where you'll be searching for new clients and points of contacts in existing business.
• Responsible for the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closed deal.
• Sales cycles could be over 6-12 months, and deal values typically range between £50k-200k, some larger ones can be £2.5m+.
• 25% of the role is account management, focusing on maintaining customer satisfaction.
• *Whilst the role is hybrid/remote, the majority of deals are won and closed in person, so you need to be happy and willing to visit customers and potential customers in the UK and Europe.

Ideal Background for the Business Development Manager

• You need to be a professional, consultative, sales closer and hunter.
• Sales knowledge of cold transport, biotechnology, logistics, pharmaceutical, medical, scientific and related sectors is of distinct advantage.
• Passionate about products and systems which can ultimately save lives.
• Full driver's licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Hold a valid passport for international travel.
