Business Development Manager
Location: London & South East
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Package

About the Role
Our client is an established design and build contractor delivering high-quality commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East. With an excellent reputation for delivering CAT A, CAT A+, CAT B fit-outs and workplace transformations, they are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop long-term client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a strong network within the office fit-out sector who enjoys winning new business and working closely with clients from initial enquiry through to project award. Our client delivers workplace environments across a range of commercial sectors, offering a fully integrated design and build service.
Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the office fit-out sector.
• Develop relationships with occupiers, end users, landlords, project managers, architects and commercial agents.
• Generate opportunities for CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B office fit-out projects.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Attend networking events and industry functions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and site visits.
• Prepare and deliver compelling tender and proposal presentations.
• Work closely with the pre-construction, design and estimating teams.
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award.
• Build long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Develop strategic account plans for key clients.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Represent our client professionally within the commercial fit-out market.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Business Development Manager.
• Office fit-out experience is essential.
• Proven track record of winning commercial fit-out projects.
• Strong network within the London commercial property and workplace sector.
• Experience selling CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B office fit-out solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Commercially astute with a proactive approach to business development.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
