Business Development Manager – TP Select

TP Select is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Business Development Manager with experience in sales, account management and business development, ideally within the rental, construction or industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of existing key accounts.

• Building strong senior-level relationships with existing customers.

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities.

• Proactively developing sales across existing and prospective customers.

• Increasing revenue and margin through cross-selling the full TP Select service portfolio.

• Identifying opportunities for additional TP Select services within existing accounts.

• Developing customer proposals and new service opportunities alongside the line manager.

• Producing and maintaining customer development plans.

• Delivering presentations to prospective customers.

• Managing customer queries and complaints through to prompt resolution.

• Maintaining regular meetings with key customers and supply chain partners.

• Completing tender documentation and supporting tender submissions alongside the CDS Director.

• Monitoring competitor activity and providing relevant market intelligence.

• Developing effective marketing and sales tools to support business development.

• Achieving agreed revenue, sales, customer retention, new business and profitability targets.

About You

The successful Business Development Manager will have:

• Proven experience in Sales, Business Development or Account Management.

• A strong track record of delivering commercial sales targets.

• Experience within a rental, construction, industrial or related environment.

• Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop profitable opportunities.

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

HVAC experience would be advantageous, although full training on this will be provided by the client.
