Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Car Sales Executive in St Helens. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to further develop their careers within a high-performing main dealer. The Car Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of used vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal individual will have a proven track record in automotive sales and the motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets.

• Competitive basic salary of £25,000 for individuals with 2+ years' experience
• Realistic on-target earnings of up to £50,000

• 37.5 hours per week, with Monday to Saturday shifts

Duties of a Car Sales Executive:

• Sell used vehicles to both new and existing customers
• Manage the full sales process from initial enquiry to vehicle handover
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
• Maximise every sales opportunity
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying process
• Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions

Requirements of a Car Sales Executive:

• At least 2 years' experience in automotive sales, ideally as a Car Sales Executive
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Target-driven, with a commercially minded approach
• Professional and confident manner
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work flexibly during dealership opening hours
• Motivated and team-oriented attitude
