School Catering Assistant
Location: FY3 7LR
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm
Hours per week: 15 hours
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic School Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team within a local school in the FY3 7LR area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for school hours and a Monday to Friday role, with no evening or weekend work.
The Role
As a School Catering Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of school meals
- Serving food to pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy
- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider catering team as required
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Friendly and approachable
- Comfortable working around children
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous catering or school catering experience is desirable but not essential
Essential Requirement
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 10:30am - 1:30pm
15 hours per week, making this an ideal role for someone looking for part-time work during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
