£55,000 - £60,000

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a Senior/Associate CDM Consultant will include:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across various sectors: commercial, industrial, education, residential, and heritage.
• Act as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015 or provide CDM Client Adviser services.
• Advise clients on their CDM Regulations 2015 duties.
• Plan, manage, and monitor the pre-construction phase.
• Coordinate health and safety aspects of design work.
• Communicate residual risks effectively.
• Liaise with designers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review Pre-Construction Information.
• Compile and review Health and Safety Files.
• Conduct site visits for compliance monitoring and guidance.
• Support wider project teams on health and safety best practices.
• Take on the Health & Safety Adviser role for the business, including inputting into Practice policies and procedures.
• Develop and expand the existing CDM offering, attracting new clients.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Senior/Associate CDM Consultant will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

• Degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Membership in a professional body (e.g. APS, IOSH, RICS or CIOB) preferred.
• Experience in delivering Principal Designer and/or CDM Adviser services.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and associated health & safety legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive service growth.
• Experience in client leadership and business development.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
