Senior Residential Support Worker – Children's EBD Home

Location: Leicester
Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off | 8:00am–10:00pm shifts plus a sleep-in | Weekend work required

RT Social Care is recruiting on behalf of a children's residential home in Leicester for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to support children and young people aged 7–18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where young people can thrive. You'll lead shifts, support your colleagues, and help deliver outstanding, child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
• Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
• Build positive relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Support and mentor junior members of staff.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
• Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals.
