Senior Residential Support Worker | Team Leader

Salary

• £17.07 - £17.50 per hour
• £60 per sleep-in

Hours

• 40 hours per week
• 240 hours annual leave

Shift Pattern

• 07:30 - 14:30
• 14:00 - 22:00
• 07:30 - 22:00 (Long Day)
• Average of 1 weekend off in every 3

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader to join our EBD Solo Children's Home.

Working alongside the management team, you will lead shifts, support and mentor colleagues, maintain high standards of care and compliance, and ensure children receive safe, therapeutic and consistent support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and provide day-to-day operational leadership.
• Support, mentor and develop Residential Support Workers.
• Promote therapeutic, child-centred care.
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory compliance is maintained.
• Complete and review care plans, risk assessments and reports.
• Liaise with professionals, families and local authorities.
• Deputise for management when required.

Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Essential).
• Minimum 3 years' experience within Children's Residential Care.
• At least 1 year's experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader.
• Good knowledge of Ofsted Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
