CHP Engineer

💰 Up to £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Company Benefits

LTek Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced CHP Engineer to join a growing and well-established business covering the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience working on Combined Heat & Power systems, gas engines, or related power generation equipment who is looking for a stable role with strong earning potential and progression opportunities.

The Role

As a CHP Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of CHP units across a range of commercial and industrial customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing and maintaining CHP systems and associated equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Working on gas engines and power generation equipment
• Completing service documentation and reports
• Providing excellent customer support on site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
• Participating in an on-call rota where required

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a CHP Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience with gas engines, generators, or power generation equipment
• Relevant engineering qualifications desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
