Civils & Groundworks Supervisor - Midlands

Location: Midlands - multiple sites
Contract: Temp to Perm - permanent opportunity after 12 weeks

Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils & Groundworks Supervisor to join an established contractor delivering groundworks and civil engineering packages across residential and commercial projects throughout the Midlands.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the successful candidate initially working on a 12-week temporary basis before moving into a permanent position.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and delivery of groundworks and civils packages, including:

• Managing site operatives, groundworkers, plant and subcontractors

• Overseeing groundworks packages from initial stages through to completion

• Managing drainage, foundations, roads, sewers, external works and associated civils

• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality

• Coordinating labour, plant and materials

• Reading and working from construction drawings

• Conducting site briefings and toolbox talks

• Ensuring RAMS are implemented correctly

• Monitoring quality and completing relevant QA documentation

• Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and clients

• Maintaining high health & safety standards across site

Requirements

• Black CSCS Manager Card - essential

• SMSTS - essential

• First Aid at Work - preferred

• Temporary Works Supervisor - advantageous
