Class 1 Driver

Location: Marston Gate, MK43 0UL

Contract: Ongoing Temporary (Year-round stability)

Earnings: From £19.89ph up to £20.45ph

Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Join Gi Group supporting our client based in Marston Gate, as a Class 1 Trunk Driver. This isn't just seasonal help; we are looking for professional drivers for a long-term partnership.

Role & Responsibilities :

• Parcel & Mail Bulk Loads
• Trunking Work, minimum manual handling
• Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
• Drivers must drive as per clients professional standards which you will be coached and trained on
• Ability to manage your Working Time Directive, and Driving Hours rules and Regulations in order to meet compliance expectations, and avoid infringement
• Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at stores

Shifts :

• Monday to Friday
• Varius start times available between (02:00, 09:00, 18:00, 19:00, 22:00, 23:00)
• Ongoing & Full Time Opportunity

Pay Rates - Please note the below includes your advanced holiday pay

Day Shift : £20.17ph

Night Shift : £21.29ph

Weekend : £22.41ph - £25.78ph

Class 1 Driver Requirements

• Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 licence + 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Previous experience in store deliveries would be preferred, but is not essential
• Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD offences)
• Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation
• Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail
