Our client, a specialised independent garage based in Brands Hatch, Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. Duties of a Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing on all makes and models, emphasising classic cars
• Conduct MOT inspections within a dedicated MOT bay
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
• Assist with restoration projects, crash repairs, and preparation for motorsport
• Interact directly with customers for booking, invoicing, and discussing repairs
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
• Contribute to specialised tasks such as metal work and restoration components

Requirements of a Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester:

• Proven experience as a Classic Car Technician & MOT Tester or similar role
• Confidence working with historic and high-value vehicles, including Lotus, Triumphs, and Caterhams
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with customers
• Full UK driving licence with a clean record
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to develop further skills within a specialised industry
• Experience with diagnostics, general maintenance, and MOT testing is essential
• Formal qualifications are not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided
