About the role:
Express Solicitors is entering an exciting phase of sustained growth, and our Clinical Negligence Department is expanding as a result of continued success and strong marketing performance. We are currently experiencing a significant increase in new clinical negligence instructions and are therefore seeking to recruit an additional lawyer to join our team.

Person Specification:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated lawyer with 1-3 years' PQE, CILEx qualification, or who is qualified by experience, to join our Clinical Negligence team. The successful candidate will demonstrate tenacity, enthusiasm, and strong technical ability, alongside a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
You will manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, including both pre-issue and issued cases, typically valued up to £100,000 (although more complex cases are available for the right candidate). You must have clinical negligence experience and be able to work for candidates with empathy and understanding.
A key and rare opportunity within this role is the chance to work closely with the Head of Department, assisting on high-value and catastrophic injury clinical negligence claims, including birth injury cases.
