CNC Milling Machine Operator

£14.50 per hour + Shift Allowance
Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Machine Operator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC milling machine operating experience who is looking to develop their career. The company is looking for a reliable operator who can demonstrate good machining knowledge and, for the right person, will provide full training to progress into setting CNC milling machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines producing precision engineered components.
• Load and unload components safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure components are produced to specification.
• Inspect finished parts using verniers, micrometers and other measuring equipment.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and route cards.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

Requirements

• Essential: Previous experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment, including verniers and micrometers.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable with a good work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Previous CNC milling setting experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 1:45pm – 10:00pm
• Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
