Lead from the Front in a Hands-On Supervisory Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Setter Supervisor to join a successful manufacturing business in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled press brake professional to take ownership of a small team while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production.

You'll be responsible for leading a team of three operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and continuous improvement remains at the heart of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery
• Supervise, support, and motivate a team of 3 operatives
• Monitor production performance and quality standards
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained
• Train, mentor, and develop team members
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC press brakes
• Previous supervisory, team leader, or mentoring experience would be ideal, but someone wanting to take to next step in their career would be welcomed and assisted in their progress.
• Strong understanding of fabrication and sheet metal processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Working Hours

Rotating Weekly Shifts:

• Days: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
• Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm
