CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (Lathe Turning)
£19.00 per hour + £1.00 per hour Back Shift Allowance
Monday to Friday | Full-Time | Days or Back Shift

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their growing manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional with experience in lathe turning and Fanuc controls to work for a well-established engineering business offering competitive pay and a stable Monday to Friday shift pattern.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to customer drawings and specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• Produce high-quality components from engineering drawings
• Work to tight tolerances and carry out self-inspection
• Prove out programmes at the machine
• Report tooling requirements to the Supervisor
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards

The Ideal Candidate

• Experienced CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator (Lathe Turning)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work

Hours

Days: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30
Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:30 – 01:00

Pay

• £19.00 per hour (Days)
• £19.00 per hour + £1.00 per hour shift allowance for all hours worked on Back Shift
