CNC Turner Programmer / Setter | Fanuc | Up to £60,000

Worthing, West Sussex · Permanent · 40 hours per week · Early finish on Fridays

Can you take a drawing, write the programme and get the first part right on a multi-axis Fanuc lathe? This role gives you ownership of the job from drawing through to production.

Adalah Recruitment is recruiting for an established engineering business. You'll programme and set multi-axis Fanuc lathes to produce complex small and medium-sized components. The work involves regular changeovers and tight tolerances, so you'll need to be comfortable setting up new jobs independently.

What you'll do

• Programme new turning jobs from engineering drawings and adapt existing programmes where needed.
• Select tooling and workholding, set the machine and prove out new jobs.
• Check first-off components against the drawing and make adjustments to bring parts into tolerance.
• Follow route cards and look for practical ways to improve setups and machining processes.

What you'll bring

• Hands-on experience programming and setting multi-axis Fanuc CNC lathes.
• The ability to write a new turning programme from a drawing and prove it out independently.
• Experience machining to tight tolerances and checking your own work.
• CAD experience is useful, but it isn't essential.

Pay and hours

• Up to £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am–4:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Friday: 7:30 am–1:30 pm.
• 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, workplace pension and free on-site parking.

The role is fully on-site in Worthing. It would suit someone based within around 15 miles of the workshop who can comfortably make the 7:30 am start.
