CNC Turner (Setter/Operator)

Brighouse

DAYS ( Monday to Friday )

Our client, a small engineering business based in Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed CNC Turner who can, set, operate CNC Lathes with FANUC and / or SIEMENS based controls.

Duties

• Responsible for editing, setting and operating of CNC Turning machines.
• Have the ability to edit Fanuc and Siemens based programs.
• Ability to producing finished components to quality requirements.
• To attend and complete any training courses if required.
• Experience of working with small batches and single components
• Can work to tight limits in a high precision environment.
• Workshop Housekeeping.

Requirements

• Should have a background in CNC Turning
• Previous experience of working with FANUC or SIEMENS
• Able to work to engineering drawings with minimum supervision.
• Able to complete tasks using own initiative.
• Willingness to comply with all HSQE requirements and procedural controls.
• Strong housekeeping and continuous improvement ethic.
• Strong team member and willing to assist wherever required.
• Skilled in manual handling
• Honest and reliable.

This is a permanent position where you will work 08:00 - 16:50 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:15 on a Friday.

In return you can expect a salary of £32k + dependant on experience.
